McMaster MakeBelieve and we are looking for CREATIVE, PASSIONATE individuals to be part of this amazing new initiative!

The purpose of this organization is to
encourage children and youths to use imagination and creativity to provide relief during stressful and difficult times in their lives. - We will be forming teams of skilled and enthusiastic McMaster students. These teams will design special workshops and activities for different populations, such as at-risk youth, hospital patients, or abuse victims.
The MakeBelieve Teams will be involved in many challenging and exciting opportunities like
teaching sick kids how to sing, performing in community centres, running therapeutic writer's workshops in schools, organizing skits with preschoolers, running self-esteem building drama workshops for high schoolers, and much more!
The main emphasis of this organization is to MAKE BELIEVE. This could mean playing a character, making up a fantasy world, or just playing a game to help deal with things like conflict, pain, or anxiety. The MakeBelieve team will be constantly coming up with new ideas to help encourage this imaginative spirit in all the people we work with.
There is literally something for everyone in this organization and there will be tons of ways to get involved - whether behind the scenes or directly involved with the kids.
This is a new endeavor so we are looking for as much interest as we can! Anyone with any skill/knowledge/experience in the
following areas, we'd LOVE to hear from you:
Music
Dance
Athletics
Creative Writing
Drama
Baking/cooking
Photography
.... or anything else remotely arts-related!
