Medicine and Health: What do the humanities got to do with it?
March 8, 7-9PM at MUSC 313
This event will highlight the importance of medical humanities to undergraduate students interested in medicine and health. The featured speaker, Hartley Jafine, will be speaking about medical humanities in relation to drama and literature. Hartley is a dynamic and intriguing speaker who has extensive experience in applied drama within the health sciences.
Creative workshops will also follow, allowing students to obtain an interactive experience in understanding how the dramatic arts and communication through art is relevant to health care.

Bringing Role Clarity to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
March 12, 6:30-8:30PM at HSC 1A4
An open dialogue between nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs) that will address the similarities and differences between the two professions for the purpose of improving healthcare outcomes in Canada.
This event will not require a previous membership, so make sure to come check it out if you're interested in what the MMHS does!
