McMaster Office Hours
Anybody know what time the various offices around McMaster open in the morning? My SOLAR won't let me sign up for Commerce courses even though they're required for my degree so I have to go around and glare at secretaries until someone fixes it, but I thought I'd attempt calling first.

It's just I can't find what time the open on the website. Not sure if I need to talk to Engineering (my faculty) or Commerce either.

That's because second year commerce kids register on the 16th

That's probably why it's locked for you

Hmm, it gave me a prerequisite failed message though, I don't think that'll magically resolve on the 16th. I could get to the courses and everything, I just didn't have the prerequisites apparently (even though I do).

I'd go to Eng, since that's your faculty. They might say they can't do anything since it's Comm, but Comm might send you back saying you're in Eng they can't do anything for you.

I was registered in Soc Sci and had to get permission for a Hummers course and when I went to Humanities, they told me I had to go to Soc Sci. I went to Soc Sci and they said I had to go to Humanities. I refused to go and one of the receptionists in Soc Sci called Hummers and got it all straightened out.

So, yeah, go to Eng first and maybe talk directly to an academic advisor.
