PURPOSE:

Educate participants about the organization and the functions of the current healthcare system in order to: 1) Help students better navigate through the system, 2) Inspire students to make a difference in healthcare reform and, 3) Have our youth have a more prominent role in regional healthcare services.

The Conference:

We are planning the largest conference of its kind with a focus on health policy, technological innovations as well as social and political issues that are shaping Canada’s healthcare system. The planning for this conference is still in its infancy stages. Thus far we’ve gathered a team of four to lead different facets, which we believe, are integral to the success of the conference. We are open to suggestions and are looking for students to participate as a part of our conference planning team.
