It is refreshing to see a higher class of criminal. Well planned using information, research, and technical ability. There wasnt any property damage; nor "Keenur" quickly scrawled everywhere. The person didnt smash things or leave the place in a mess. They even cleaned up after themselves!

Shame the cameras are gone now, my lazy housemate will actually have to crawl out of bed and go to class now, instead of watching the feed on his laptop.

This Happened last year as well! How is it that Mac still isn't able to make secure boxes/storage bins for the video units/projectors in class rooms: ESPECIALLY after last years organized thievery?

This is what happens when lecture halls are not locked and when anyone not a part of the university can walk in and out of these classrooms.

are you kidding me!? do you realize how much of a pain in the ass it would be to get a custodian to re-open a lecture hall every 50 minutes? why on EARTH would they lock the lecture halls!

It's annoying enough when a classroom gets locked and I get a frantic customer service call from a prof bitching about how they need the classroom opened NOW because their class started 5 minutes ago and I have to scramble to find a custodian to open it.

Soo umm what about locked storage boxes? Like something you can put over the projectors. You can make a set of keys that is only available to the profs who teach in that lecture hall.

Its not perfectly thief proof; but it is a deterrence, possibly even more so then padlocking it like they do right now.
