Mech Eng 2B03 Advice/Course Review?
Any opinions about the course? How was the work load? And the labs?

If you can do the assignments, you will do fine on the tests. I'm assuming that you have McDermid. It's a pretty dry course and the labs vary between having enough time to finish or being very pressed for time to finish. The assignments are key if you don't understand what is going on in lecture.

Yeah this course wasn't that bad. It was one of the easier courses last year imo.
The labs do have formal write ups but the labs themselves are pretty straight forward. Things that I remember were measuring different parts with various tools (ruler, calipers...) and plotting it on a histogram, calibrating flow meters, finding elastic modulus/poissons ratio of a piece of steel, and another I forget (motor?)

Like jp said the assignments are key to getting a good mark! Assuming you have already taken ENG 2P04 you know how important the assignments were in that course. Same applies for this one. The midterms/exam had a few tricks in em but were very similar to the assignments.
