Memorizing Engineering Formulas
I'm going into Engineering next year, and was wondering whether a current student could answer my question. In the Engineering courses, will formulas be provided? I don't have the greatest memory, and am hoping that Engineering tests and quizzes will be based on how well one can apply knowledge, rather than how well their memory works. Thanks!

Hi Ben! For the chem course I believe constants were given for tests but not so much equations (there aren't that many to memorize anyways). For physics, they do provide you with an equation page for each test, however you need to know how to use the equations because it doesn't like say what the variables stand for, or any other info. And for math courses, no equations were provided for us so you would have to memorize them. Materials-we were allowed a 1 page crib sheet so you can put w/e you want on it.

Quizes are mainly done online, on your own time. You can just reference your textbook for the eqn's you need. Hope that helped!

benjs says thanks to zoyy for this post.
