I hear that textbook is useless but the Macroeconomics is a must buy
I disagree about the Macroeconomics part. It's more necessary than for Micro but you can still get through the course very easily without buying the textbook.

Is there a way I might be able to see the kind of questions in the study guide, through the library or something, without buying it?

It really depends on how familiar you are with the content, and how you study best. If you prefer having a text in order to study the concepts in more depth, and refer to them when you get confused, then I would recommend you get the texts.
