The hospital loading docks on Forsyth S. They always seem to have some sitting around.

insider tip, you didn't hear it from me
+1, i've done that before, not for my bike though.

Or go behind a Mac's Milk, Rabba, or any other conv. stores. They usually have some laying around the back.

When I worked at Tim Hortons, we would literally have dozens of them lying around in the back storage and fridge area.

I think you should try going in and asking for one... I know we didn't do anything with them (not that I ever saw).

I can't tell if some of the responses are actually encouraging stealing crates from stores.

Ya op make sure u "borrow" crates and dont steal them. it would have a detrimental impact on the fabric of this society and a bad influence on the young ones like me.

I don't think it's really encouraging stealing. It's more that the stores won't really lose much if one is missing, out of the hundreds or thousands they have. Also, they wouldn't leave them out like that =/.

You could also say, billionaires won't really lose much if a hundred thousand dollars is missing...

Exactly.. In fact, they might not even notice the deficit.

I think Jeremy was trying to say that just because they can afford it, doesn't mean it's right/you should do it.

XD

I'm not encouraging it or anything. And besides, it won't be too hard to ask for one of the crates. They would most likely give you it anyway.

and that's really the point I was trying to make. You can make the excuse and say that a few crates here and there won't 'cause any harm, but the fact remains that you'd still be stealing, regardless of the impact and/or significance.

Not if you return the crate at the end of the year, then it would be borrowing.
