Mini Fridge
Does McMaster have mini fridges for you to rent or buy?
If so, how much are they and where do we get them from?

But renting costs almost as much as buying a fridge. If you plan on using a fridge for the following years you might as well buy one.

I advise against renting its cheaper to buy your own.

It's only cheaper if you plan on using a mini-fridge for more than 1 year, which is the case for most people.
Even if you are living off campus the following year, it's very nice to have a mini fridge in the room.

Speaking of buying minifridges, where can you find a moderately priced one, I've only seen really crappy ones for like $130. =/

What do you mean by moderately priced?
I think the one I have came from Costco... but that was like 5 years ago.

From my experience... 130 is about the cheapest you're going to get :(
Also, be careful because the quality of those fridges is... questionable. I got one for about that price before my first year and it barely survived into the first semester of my second year.

I believe mine's a Danby and at the time it was pretty expensive but it has lasted 5 years and counting ^-^
By pretty expensive I mean 150-200$. Yeah that's a pretty wide range but it was 5 years ago, I can't remember the exact price.

I just got a Danby for school, found it at a place called "Appliance Plus" in Kitchener/Waterloo. Paid about $200 for it. We went to Sears/Futureshop/TA aswell but they either tended to be more expensive or have the little crappy ones (plus the sales guy at Futureshop was a total tool.)

Wal-Mart's Danby's have been on sale for the past week. I don't know if it's expired now, but it was like 112 as long as you wanted a normal one. Like with a little freezer. I think it was a 3.2... The stainless steel one was obviously very expensive...
