The giants pitching is the stuff dreams are made of.

I would say Phillies pitching is better than Giants, by a longshot. Oswalt and Halladay will dominate, with Hamels being the weaklink-- and he's been doing pretty well recently. And in an 8-day NLDS, they can throw Halladay out there twice if necessary, and Oswalt if it really comes down to a game 5.

Giants have Lincecum and he struggled going into September before getting back on track. Sanchez was impressive today, Zito is really iffy, and I haven't followed Cain too much but his stats seem solid enough.

Braves have Hudson... and that's about it, seemingly. Hanson's numbers look good and Lowe has been in the postseason before, so he definitely has the capability to buckle down.

I really only disagree with you on the Reds beating the Phillies. Braves v Giants will be a pretty close series.

Bleacher Report doesn't count. ESPN or some other reputable website plz. Giants rotation is solid but not that great.

I definately wouldn't call the giants rotation the best in the modern era. Yea their stats are good but this is in a subpar NL west and in the national league which is much easier on pitchers. I would take the yanks or rays rotation especially in the playoffs where you can avoid bad 4th and 5th starters

I want the Phillies to succeed just because Halladay is on the team. 95% sure he's got Cy Young locked up for the NL (21 wins, solid ERA, PERFECT GAME??????) and adding a World Series ring would be the icing on the cake. Plus, it's his first time in the post-season. Considering the great years he put in in Toronto he deserves it.

Halladay gets his moment on Wednesday.

I dunno man. Yanks rotation isn't too strong-- Burnett has been crap, Pettite is back from injury, Vazquez is crap and Hughes has been used sparingly and is up there in innings. Rays have Price, Garza has been up-and-down all year, Shields' stats are poor(although he doesn't have the nickname "Big Game" for nothing). Balfour, Benoit and Soriano are a scary end-game tandem.

Phillies easily have the best rotation.

The yankees pitching rotation sucks, anyone who says otherwise knows nothing about baseball.

The Phillies pitching is far better if you ask me.

2 words. Doc Halladay

He has a no-no going through 7 now as I write this.

The giants should beat the braves. They have better pitching and my pick for rookie of the year, Buster Posey.

The Yanks are getting old but the Twins are a hurting unit.

Tampa is playing well mind you they got spanked today.

Another Phillies Tampa/ world series I think with Philly winning in 6.

Strange how it's always been the Yankees vs. Twins in almost every Division series. But the Yankees definitely aren't as good as last year.

Hopefully the Twins will win it all.

I'm looking forward to seeing AJ Burnett self-destruct in his outing, whenever that's going to be.
