So I got a bunk/loft triple... What's the average size of the room? Like is it cramped or is there a reasonable amount of space for all 3 people to be living in it?

it sort of depends. each residence, and each layout varies (ie -- i lived in whidden in a corner triple room, which was larger than an interior triple room).

as for general measurements...no idea. i don't have the conceptual talent for that, and it's also been three years. bring a tape measure for welcome day.

let me just say, it is tight quarters. it's not like if you're at your desk you'll be touching the person at the other desk, but it's not like you can have twenty people in your room at once.

whatever you bring; many people bring x-box, nintendo, ps2 etc.

HOWEVER i would suggest keeping them in your room and not in a common room as it may walk away and never come back. (theft in res does unfortunately happen).

there are also all kinds of programming events that occur through the year; from trips off campus, to mocktail nights...loads of stuff....i can't really give you more to go by though as I am not RLS in Moulton, nor do I know what they have planned.

I lived in Moulton Hall last year, 1st floor triple room. I had the loft bed. Its the one with the bed on top and the desk directly underneath it. I really liked having the loft because it was like I had all my stuff in one little area and all to myself, where my roomates shared the bed area and then their desks were on the other side of the room. The only thing that I didn't like about the loft bed was that there wasn't a lot of closet space. I had a lot, a lot of drawer space but my closet space was so much more limited than my two roomates.

Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's the top bunk, yes. At least when I was on staff, bed assignments for bunk and loft rooms weren't as set in stone as they are for some other buildings, though, since we were cognizant of the fact that some people aren't comfortable in a top bunk or may have trouble getting up there. If it poses a problem, it may be able to be changed, but it'd have to be discussed with your roommates and the residence manager first.
