Ya, I'm experiencing the same issues with Rogers. I can't seem to send/receive text messages when I'm on Campus.

Other 3G crap like the data connection works though.... weird.

Never had problem with reception, and if i really needed to i always would have my messages sent. GAN and UMA ftw, meaning wifi, 2g/3g handover when one is unavailable

i dont understand you moron, no one is yelling at them to get personalized treatment, people just want services that they are paying damn good money for. that's like going to the grocery store paying for everything you were gonna get, and then walking out with half the shit....aren't you gonna have something to say about that?!

I've never had problems with actual reception (I get 4 or 5 bars in most places), but my 3G/texting sometimes goes out in the afternoon.

May be due to congestion on the network more so than a reception problem.

Just so everyone knows, it's not just rogers. I'm with Bell and also have serious issues sending/receiving texts while on campus. I also know someone on Telus that has the same problems. Mine hasn't been so bad lately, but there were times when I wouldn't be able to use my phone at all on campus.

Bell/Telus' "New Network" is horrible on campus. Much worse than the intermittent problems I have with Rogers.

Some days are total blackouts for them.
