need help!!!
Hey guys I'm new to this forum...and im completely scared because i just applied to universities!!! many people are getting their acceptances and I haven't :( does anyone around what time to expect the acceptances and also if anyone got into social sciences, what was avg that you got in with?

i didn't get mine till march, and I have over a 90 applying to science, don't worry, it'll come!

Some even come as late as april

didnt get mine until 2nd semester high school midterm marks rolled out. Also, has high school even finished one semester yet? universities dont have any of your gr 12 marks lol. wait until like apr for midterm marks 2nd term.

Its ok. You'll get in. I believe the cut-off average for SocSci is between 75-78%. Aim higher though.

They only really consider top 6 courses for your final admission average. So if you messed up on something, not the end of the world. And seeing as though you're still probably in first semester of High School, not many people get their acceptances at this time. So it's all good.
Wait until after mid-terms of Second Semester. That's when a lot of mine came.

They tend to start with the people with the highest grade 11 averages, for the offers given out in Dec-Feb.
Then once more marks come in from grade 12, more offers go out.
It's been this way for years.

I don't quite remember when I got my acceptance but I think it was around March and April. No worries, you'll get it soon enough.

First off, welcome to MacInsiders forum!

You're quite the eager one, don't worry about things yet because there is plenty... PLENTY of time. People get acceptances at all different times, some take longer in the mail, some are sent later... doesn't mean anything negatively reflected on you. If your friends are getting acceptance letters, just remember that yours is most likely on it's way.
