Need Help plz
Hi, i am a first year engineering student, though out this year i have encountered lots of tragedies that made my marks go down a lot. I was wondering if there is any institution at mac which will compensate for my lack of marks. I was wondering if i could go to say Sally Williams? Any help from u guys would be great

Tragedies as in... illness and personal loss? You should have been taking care of marks with missed work forms and medical documentation. You can't just pop in and see Sally Williams at the end of the exam period and expect to get special considerations..

I would shoot somebody like Sally Williams an email. Failing that, (unlikely) then you could contact the ombuds.

I don't mean anything but there is way way way way more tragic things than a car accident .. like yes I understand and I am sorry if this sounds rude ... but there are so many other people who pass with horrible shit and still manage to do good in school

In the event that an advisor (or whomever) deems your situation not 'deserving' leaniency, the ombuds will try to resolve the matter at more of a favorable compromise than what university policy dictates.

I do not understand, how would they compensate? I am sorry you went through that but could you not just study hard and try your best?

BTW, For RyanC, Epic Rap Battles of History 7 makes me laugh every time I hear it. I put it on my MP3 player. I was the only one out of my group of friends who got the TI-82 thing and most other jokes for that matter.
