if you look up the steal deal, i got microsoft professional academic for 80 bucks

its legal and great quality, you mind as well just buy it if you dont know your way around torrents or at very least, have a decent understanding of your computer and what bots, spyware, malware, and viruses can do |

OpenOffice is very capable.
I think too many people pirate software when there's no need.

To me, OpenOffice = Microsoft Office 2000 in terms of what it can do. Maybe I'll look back at it again in a few years.

Yea true, it just feels... better using Office 2007 or 2010.

But does that justify not paying for MS Office?
Simply put, to all those who are thinking about pirating MS Office: if you're in a program that uses MS Office a lot, just buy the damn thing. If you don't need it, or only need it occasionally (like me), OpenOffice works fine.

In my opinion, at least give Open Office a try first. If you're not used to pirating software off torrents it'll be much easier.

I find MS Office 2007/2010's Ribbon interface just too much, but that's me. I wish O.O's Powerpoint Alternative was more robust.

This was driving me crazy, I tried torrent, blah blah, and finally "My Chinese Website never let me down" you need to read chinese though, I dont wanna post the link here , cuz it's illegal - - !

Anything justifies not paying for any of Microsoft's products  .
I try to only pay for things that I want continued development on (i.e. games, some android apps. etc).
