Hii !!

I am new here, I need some help in recovering my Mac ID and password.
I have lost control over my registered email id (my email id is hacked !!) on which i have kept all the information about Mac login portal. Now the problem is that, that i don't have my Mac Id, Password and even Barcode Number. I only have my Student number which is printed on the Offer letter. please help me as soon as possible.

I am not in Canada so I cant contact them directly. can you please give me their Email ID, so that i can contact them as soon as possible. I have applied for September intake. I will be there by the end of August.

Your Mac ID is usually the first 6 letters of your last name, followed by your first initial and your middle name initial if you have one. For example, "Mark Elliot Zuckerberg" would be "zuckerme"

I now have my Bar-Code ID with me. I have some more questions, through Bar-Code ID, I can recover/change my Mac ID. So my questions are :

1. Does it change my Mac ID or it just tells me what my Mac ID was ?
2. After getting my Mac ID, can i change my password or do I still have to struggle to get it ?
3. After recovering my Mac ID and Password, How can i change my registered Email ?
4. Can i change my Bar-Code ID, because My Email ID has been hacked so I am worried that the person can use the same Bar-Code ID from the email and reset the password (I think I know the person who have hacked it ).

Your barcode is used to find your MacID, not to change it

1., 2. You aren't changing you Mac ID, you're just changing the password associated to it. Your barcode ID will only tell you what your Mac ID is.
3. Once you change your Mac ID password, your email password will automatically change by itself since it is linked to your Mac ID.
4. You do not need to change your barcode ID. You barcode ID is used solely to find your MacID in the event that you do not know it. Even if the hacker has your barcode ID, they won't be able to retrieve the password solely with the barcode ID

How did you even get hacked before school started? Also have you set recovery questions yet? Because if you have and you remember the answers you can reset your password yourself here. Would highly recommend you contact McMaster's Technology Services Department to sort this out or if you are unsure about anything.
