I may or may not enjoy outdoors activities.
I may or may not be trolling this thread.
I may or may not have gotten far too little studying done for tomorrow's exam.
I may or may not be reasoning that getting up at 6 will save me.
I may or may not stop replying to this thread until a new page is in just to avoid overly diluting it with my comments (any further).

PS. NEVER EVER EVER go for a walk along the road towards the botanical gardens from the stairway at princess point on your own. I have had a guy follow me and ask if I wanted to "play around". Potentially the scariest moment of my life, he was a big guy.

http://www.thespec.com/specialsectio...arpment/263297

It says there's stairs on four streets: Dundurn, Chedoke, James and Wentworth. But this article is outdated because I know there's also a set on Kenilworth. I've done them twice, on Wentworth and Chedoke, I think. They all go from the lower city completely up the mountain. Some people use them for exercise, I've also heard people say they use them as a way of commuting to/from work and such.

I love the view from the escarpment. There's a bunch of lookouts from the top, can't remember where though.

Start a dog walking service. Exercise + outside + $ = win!

I wasn't. I'd probably do that as well if I had a laptop.

Do one new thing each day, that's my plan:

http://new-thing-a-day.blogspot.com/

People complain that life is too short, or that time goes by too quickly. That's because each day is indistinguishable from the last. If you make each day unique, you'll find that your quality of life will go up.

Not to mention you can learn some sweet skills. Some are useful, like whistling or sign language, or just stupid, like grabbing your foot and jumping through your leg.

On top of that, whenever somebody asks you, what's up, you'll have a million things to tell them.

Good luck.

After my exam tonight, I went bombing around and drove through/past Dundas and managed to stumble across Tews falls. Being damn dark I couldn't see a thing :(

I plan to check out the waterfalls this summer!

was going through some old pamphlets and found this: Apparently we get free admission to the 8 City of Hamilton Civic Museums with our student cards! Not sure if this qualifies as outdoorsy. But it includes Dundurn Castle! also Whitehorn Historic House and Garden National Historic Site, Battlefield house museum and park, the Hamilton museum of steam and technology etc. I've only ever been to the castle, and this is valid until June 2010, so i'll probably end up checking some of the others out too.
