Need to switch classes for second term!
I dont want to take WST 1A03 anymore so I have to find something to replace it. I wanted Peace ST but its full. Do i need to pick something from te Undergrad guide thats under Course list 1 or 2 (pg.98 in PDF) or can I pick any level 1 course?

Thanks!

Women ST is my elective. Could I take Indiginous studies as an elective? I wanted peace studies but its full. I have 15 from List 1. And 12 (15 if you count WST 1a03 that I'm trying to get rid of) from list 2. I have all my courses I want to apply into CMST & MMEDIA.

If you have taken all the required courses for humanities 1 then You can pretty much take any electives as far as i know if there is no prerequisite of course

Yes! or sometimes you need to take a certain number of humanities courses to still be considered a humanities student.

I apologize if I'm wrong about all of this, I don't know much about Humanities. So according to this, you just need "Completion of any Level I program and a Cumulative Average of at least 5.0 and a grade of at least C in CMST 1A03."

So, seeing as you're in first year Humanities, you just need to complete the requirements found here. According to this, you just ned to take 12 units from List 1, then the rest are all electives and don't have to be from either of the lists. Also, it says that "Admission to a Level II program normally requires completion of three to six units of the relevant subject in Level I.", so I guess you'll need to have some MMEDIA and CMST courses.

Based on this, I think you can take whatever you want so long as you have 12 units from Course List 1, the CMST+MMEDIA courses, and 30 Units in total.

Hope this helped in some small way.
