New Library Extended Hours!
Mills Libary will be extending its hours over the exam period. From April 9- 26, the Learning Commons will be open from midnight to 2am. Enterance and exit will be from the Learning Commons Tower (southeast corner of Mills). See more at

Great news! I know I will need to be at Mac real late to study for my exams. Glad to see the library staying open, its a fantastic idea. I've never entered Mills through that new ramp but now I will try it out

Study rooms
What about the study rooms, will they be open on the upper floor? And what about cubicles... any of those available? I need to study in absolute silence the learning commons is noisy usually so I cant focus there

It says study rooms will be open in the post on the Library website but it doesn't mention anything about the study carols being open on the second floor.

thanks krista. thats the kind of stuff I want to hear! the library changing up its schedule to help out the students

itll probably be packed in there over exam week but being open late might help to balance the people coming in the day

You are right, it should help balance out the amount of people during the day. I personally prefer studying late at night, I'm not much of a morning person
