Not using all 60% of OSAP to pay for first installment
Hey guys,

So basically in my payment agreenment I chose to pay with OSAP and scholarships. However, It says that I'm not using all of my OSAP to pay for it, as my scholarships cover a large portion. So I was wondering what they do with the remaining amount of the money that was released. Do they just add it up with the other 40%?

Thanks!

It gets deposited into your bank, so make sure you bring a cheque or direct depositing information.

The cheque has the information required at the bottom (It's the numbers).
You can get direct deposit information for your account from your bank.

But when I went to do the OSAP release, the lady told me that I did not need to put my bank information because all of the money would be going straight to my tuition.

If you have 0$ left to pay McMaster then your OSAP will go to your bank.

I don't think that I ever gave them any of my bank information.
How can I give it to them?
Thanks!

You do it the day you pick up your OSAP. Since the 60% has gone to McMaster, banking information was not needed. If you don't owe McMaster any more money (Account Information in MUGSI) then you will have to bring that information when you pick up your OSAP in January.

If you are still confused, then consider talking to a financial advisor when school starts (SFAS in Gilmour Hall).

Does anyone know how long it'll take for them to direct deposit the remaining amount into your bank account?
