NYE Traffic QEW West?
Hi all,

I'll be driving tomorrow afternoon-ish (around 6PM) from Mississauga to Niagara Falls. Anybody know what the traffic is usually like on new year's eve?

I know going East to Toronto is probably going to be a b*tch but I was curious if I'll be in the clear to leave at 6 to make an 8PM dinner reservation.

Thanks!

The traffic should be fine, but always safe to leave earlier or push your reservation to 8:30 pm.

On the QEW, the main slowdown may be around Oakville, as always. However, I've heard that the the worst part of this drive is actually in Niagara Falls for NYE. People have said that it's stupidly packed with cars in Niagara. So going on that, I'd leave another half hour, maybe even an hour earlier. And even if there isn't much traffic, you can always walk around the falls.
