You can send the New Student form in past the deadline and the Registrar's Office will produce your student card, however it may be delayed in reaching you. THe best option would be to go in person and deliver the form, that way you do not lose any time in mailing it in.

Hey guessme,
Like FireDragonX mentioned, in order to figure out what courses you must take and what electives you can take, you should look through the Undergraduate Calendar. The following article is great if you need help understanding the Undergraduate Calendar: http://www.macinsiders.com/showthread.php?t=2194 5
In regards to your form, my best advice would be to call the school. I know you can have your student card made when you come to campus (during the first week of school), so I dont think this should be too much of a problem. Nonetheless, you should call the Registrar's office and they can let you know if you should still mail in your new student form, or if you can simply come to the office during the first week of school.
Hope this helps!

It won't be too late to send it on monday, since it was only due friday. But you might get your student ID card a little bit later than everyone else, maybe during thr first week of school instead of in the mail. Regarding the courses, what program are you registered for? ANd you'll need to use the Undergrad calendar like others mentionned, and it tells you what courses you need to take in first year, and how many electives you have - which you can choose anything for .

ya the first number in the course code is the year. so courses starting with a 1 are the ones you'll be taking this year.

Yep! All the courses starting with 1 are for first year, that goes for all courses, in math and other departments as well
