Street parking would be a option.

Unless posted, Hamilton does not seems to mind allowing extended parking on their smaller roads.

Its free!

If you live on or near Sanders, its free overnight parking. I did it all the time over the summer.

The parking lot at mcmaster, the one behind the residents. They are 5$ flat rate and you can leave your cars there over night, Ive done it before.

From 9pm to 7am the pay street parking on campus is also free. These are the areas where you have to get a paper ticket from a meter and place it in your window. Read the rules on the associated signs carefully, but I've parked in front of ABB many many times from 9pm to 7am with no tickets. The only complaint I got was from a painting crew who couldn't paint the parking lines because I was parked over two spots all night, oops.
