I had Harrison for the first orgo this year, and IMO he is not a good prof at all. During lecture, he sometimes rushes through the material and hence I stopped going to lecture after the third week. His midterm was very fair and the labs are easy to get 90+. But his exam was very hard. The average was like 52% on MC and 55% on short answers or something.

I'm pretty sure there aren't any "easy" orgo professors. The course itself is challenging, so just put in the time to study for it and it'll be fine.

Although I heard he was tough on 2OA3 students who took it during the year, he was not that hard on us during summer 2012's 2OB3. But since he's teaching 2OA3 in the summer this time, I would expect it to be as difficult as it was for the fall 2OA3 students, unfortunately.

^lol labs are a joke man. and loads of ppl will sell the book on fb after the exam this term. the advice for this class is the same for any other class. it isnt special or different. its probably the easiest chem course from 2nd year anyways.

I had him last year for 2OA3... really didnt see what everyone was complaining about. Coming from someone in engineering, he was one of my better profs for the semester...

He even gave everyone a free mark when our midterm class average was in the high 60s.

High 60s for a class average is too low? You life sci kids are crazy...
