The person above me knows who the prof is, and of course I tried googling before posting.

I took both Organic Chem 2OA3 and 2B03 last year and I had the tests on Thursdays. I had Dr. Landry for the 1st one, he was pretty lenient and he could teach. I had Harrison for the second. I thought he was less lenient and couldn't teach.

I took both Chem 2OA3 and 2OB3 in summer 2012. The test/midterm with Dr. Landry (2OA3) was on Thursday, May 24. The test/midterm with Dr. Harrison (2OB3) was on Tuesday, July 10. Both tests took place from 6-8pm. I reconfirmed these dates with the course outline and what was typed on the copy of the test.

The exam, on the other hand, was on Thursday, June 14 for 2OA3 and Thursday, August 2 for 2OB3 - again, 6-8pm.

Didnt really feel like making a whole new thread to ask a question, but do both orgos tend to fill up in the summer term? I took 2OA3 last year and was wondering if i should take 2OB3 in the 2nd term of the summer, and if so should i enroll sooner than later? (still debating whether or not i want to take it in the summer)

Demand is usually fairly high, I'm not sure if it typically fills up though. I'd recommend adding it and then you can always drop it later on if you decide against taking it, just in case.

Also, a lot of people drop 2OA3 after the midterm (and thus don't take 2OB3 even though they've pre-registered for it) and a good portion go into the summer planning to do both orgos but only do the first, either by choice or because of a poor 2OA3 mark. You should have no problem getting a seat in 2OB3 even if you cut deadlines close. But I agree with starfish - take the seat now if you're pretty sure you want to take it as you have until June 28 to drop 2OB3 with no academic or financial penalties.

Haha thank you! It's Hanlon's Razor and although does sound a wee bit arrogant it is nonetheless true in a lot of situations!
