Orgo or physics in Summer School?
I originally wanted to do organic chemistry during summer school since everyone says second year will be easier if you just get it over with during the summer, but it was full so I applied and paid for Physics 1B03/1BB3. I convinced myself that I'm better off doing physics in the summer since I suck at physics more than chem anyways, but I just got an email today saying room opened up for Chem 2OA3/2OB3 so now I'm not sure which one to do.

So which do you think is more helpful to finish during the summer, physics or chemistry? (considering I'm weaker in physics than chemistry)

Thanks!

I'd say if you're weaker in physics than take it in summer school because you'll have more time to focus on it and get through the capas by yourself (which is key in my opinion) because if you understand those, then you've got all the tests and exams.

Orgo is really good in summer school as well but you have the summer after second year too, if you want to take it in the summer. Also, since you said that you're strengths lie in chemistry you could also try part one during the year and based on that decide if you want to take the second in summer school or during the year.

Please note that you should make sure you realize your strength, because I was weaker in physics and taking 1b03 during the year really killed me, so learned my lesson the hard way.

you could do both since they physics and orgo are on the same day first term.

Orgo is harder, physics is easier. You could do both, if you're not working or whatever during the summer. Physics is something I could handle during the year, but orgo on top of my courseload is time consuming... really up to what your strengths/weaknesses are..
