OSAP Coverage Inquiry
Hey MacInsiders,

Although I understand this question is somewhat crude in form, I was wondering:

Could OSAP loans alone conceivably pay for all tuition/book expenses for a third or fourth year off-campus student?

In first and second year, I know people who were able to pay for everything with OSAP alone, but I also know that for third/fourth year students, OSAP doesn't give applicants grants. So I was just wondering if, from your experience or knowledge, OSAP loans could possibly add up to ~$6500 per year.

For everyone who answered, thanks for your time!

You can get 360$ a week if you are a single student with no dependent and 560% a week if you are married, in common-law or a sole-support parent.

I think school is like 32 weeks? So you could get like way more than 6500 per year. But you only have to actually pay back 7300 because the rest is OSOG (https://osap.gov.on.ca/OSAPPortal/en...ONT004230.html) which doesn't have a limit in terms of level of study.
