OSAP Mistake?
Alright so OSAP is now availible to me, and i was granted $3000 from OSAP

I went back to my payment Agreement and changed it and clicked OSAP, however, when i clicked summary and the new balance came out, it has only deducted a little over half of it, $1630. Where and when do i get the rest of my money??

I went on the OSAP website and logged in and it told me i was granted the 3000, but then on my PA it says

"based on your osap estimate, this is the amount we will deduct - and its 1630?

What am i doing wrong here?

Alright so i went back onto the OSAP website and checked, the 1600 is to be released on September 4th, and the remaining will be released on Jan 1 2009.

However, if we are to pay the entire years tuition by September 1st, why is OSAP being released after that date and what do we do with the payment that is supposed to be released on Jan 1, i need the money to pay for all this by Sept 1

You have to make your first payment by Sept 1st, whether that be your first monthly payment, the whole thing or half depends on which kind of payment you agreed to.

If you do pay all of your fees in Sept then the OSAP money will just be put into your bank account.

I chose to do the whole payment by Sept 1st, so when 2009 comes rolling around, i should see around 1400 in my bank account right, because thats when the next OSAP payment comes out but i have already paid in full??

So long as you go and collect your loans and submit your banking information then yes.

Does that mean we have to supply our banking information twice? Once in september and once in January?

No, so long as you do it in Sept they will still have it in Jan. If you decide to use OSAP in your next year though you will have to bring your banking information again.
