Where and how do I sign up for my Mac e-mail account?

I've gone on the Mac site multiple times trying to figure out how sign up works and haven't been successful.

Have you tried going into MUGSI, clicking "My Profile" and then clicking on "Enable your MAC ID services?"

Well you have to sign up for your MacID services first. Your MacID and password are what opens your personal e-mail. You can enable your MacID services through MUGSI.

If it doesn't work right away, don't worry, it might take a couple of days to kick in.

go to mugsi
enable macid services (if you can, otherwise wait until you can)
then use email.

i activated mine but it wont...i can log in to mugsi fine but cant sign in to the email. havent made any effort to find out what the problem is, because they send everything to my personal email anyway.

When did you enable your services?

That is extremely weird. Use McMaster University Portal and see if you can access your e-mail there.

At the Mission To Mac (Mississauga) session, somebody asked a similar question.
Undergraduate email, or first year email, is temporarily shut down until SOLAR reopens, according to my understanding

i activated it two more times and it started working
