Is Philos 2B03 really that difficult?
I have to take this course as part of my program, but I've read a ton of reviews by previous students saying stuff like: "worst elective I've ever taken" and "half the students in the class failed". It's starting to worry me.
Was wondering if there was anyone out there who actually enjoyed the course and could ease my mind a little bit? Otherwise, I was thinking I would overload on my first semester so that I would have less courses to take alongside 2b03, and thus spend more time practicing and studying.

This course is definitely not easy. You will have to work just as hard as you would in any other course. The prof last year was Dr. Vorobej and he was amazing. He should be able to help you with any questions or concerns you have because he can teach logic to just about anyone. If you aren't to keen on analytic thinking then I suggest you take Humanities 2C03, but I don't know if it is offered this year. If you take Philosophy 2B03 I suggest you attend all the lectures and do the readings and you will find yourself with a great grade in the end.

Best of luck
