I really like that pigeon shot. Good capture.
Just something to take note though, a lot of your pictures seem pretty soft. I'm not sure if that's just because of the image resizing/compression, but if it's not, remember to not always shoot wide open or with too slow of a shutter speed. ^_______^
Keep it up. Wish I had more time for photography myself, feels like forever since I just went out for a shoot.

Thanks guys,
@TTHX: Actually that was something I have been trying to fix. I have been fiddling with depth of field a bit. Not sure completely how to work my lenses yet buut it will come.
Also the pigeons is one of my favourites. Its actually from downtown Hamilton.

They look good. A few things i noticed.
The bald lake sunset photo is slightly crooked, so i would straighten out the horizon.
Just watch the focus on the pseudo-macro shots. They seem to have a slight front of back focus (I may not be seeing it right because they are smaller photos).
Creek in the forest just looks like camera shake from not enough light.
Although there is nothing wrong with the photo the one of the guy on the sidewalk at night would benefit from a smaller DOF.
You have a good creative eye for finding stuff not everyone sees right away.

Looks like good stuff, especially the pigeon shot. Also, kudos on the light art.
I'm a HUGE photography buff - if you decide to get into off-camera lighting (Strobist stuff), let me know if you need help. Also, if you want to venture into old-school film more.

Thanks, again. I love to hear critiques and suggestions, they help me get better. I use a Nikon D60, though i wish i spent another 200 more and got something with an in body motor. All of my kit including makes and speeds are on my biography tab of my website.

I think mohawk does. I saw it in a flier when I was sitting in the doctors office. It was like 300 bucks. I guess thats not that bad considering how much we pay for classes anyways.

I'm in the photography program at Conestoga and it's horrible! I would definitely not recommend their program to anyone. I'm not sure about Mohawk's program but I would recommend doing some research into the quality of the course before you sign up. Save yourself from wasting the $300 dollars. I've learned way more from reading books and stuff on the internet on my own time and would recommend doing that for awhile first.
This is a good site to peruse: http://digital-photography-school.com/
I thought the Digital Photography Books by Scott Kelby had a lot of good quick tips in them.
This is the book my course is using as a reference: http://www.amazon.com/Photography-Ba.../dp/0321011082 It's sort of expensive so I'd look around on the internet first
