If you already have grade 12 physics, don't waste your time taking physics 1l03. I took Physics 1L03(b/c I didn't take grade 12 physics) and it was a waste of money. Physics 1b03 is pretty much a review of grade 12 physics(from what i've heard from others). If you feel you are weak at physics you always ask the profs for help during office hours (I did that and it really helped alot).

Here are some threads that could help:

I heard that Physics 1L03 is waste of money thats's why I chose to take 1B03.. thanks a lot..

If you got 85 in high school physics I'm pretty sure you'll be fine with B03. Although it is hard. very hard.
but you'll do fine!

in terms of med schools, canadian schools aren't very picky. american schools on the other hand, most require a lab component. L03 does NOT have a lab component. Whether you take 1L03 or not, I recommend doing 1BB3 to distribute your eggs among several baskets. Keep in mind 1B03 is noticeably harder than 1L03. If you think you can ace 1L03 take it a high mark is always nice... Also, last thing, some programs require completion of Physics 1B03 by the end of level 2 if you do a little planning you can figure out if or if not that'll be an issue for you (most likely not, most programs have enough elective room)

and L'Étoile i think we all had higher standards in high school go easy on her.
