Another question, Do courses you take in the summer that are not required still get added to your cumulative average even if you have all 30 credits?

I don't know the answer to your first question, but as for the second: yes, it will still be included in your Cumulative Average along with all other courses you've taken at McMaster - it just won't be included in your Sessional Average of the Fall/Winter 2010-2010 term.
