I was wondering, since in the outline it says we need the Physics for Scientists and Engineers 8th Edition, will there be any problems if I bought the 7th edition?

I used the 7ed last year and I borrowed my friends 8ed once in awhile. The major difference is the questions, but other then that the text is the same. I didn't even end up doing the questions in the text, do to capa anyways.

You will be fine. Even the Prof in that course puts up the practice questions from both editions. Materials is 99% same.
