Physics 1E03

Physics 1E03 is an introduction to electromagnetism, DC circuits, and waves for students in Year I Engineering. There are three 50-minute lectures each week, and either a three-hour lab or a two-hour tutorial/discussion session once a
week (labs and tutorials alternate).

This is the partner to Physics 1D03. It is about the same difficulty level and pace. You learn a little bit of integration in calculations, but not much. Final exam is tough, study alot for this course.

Textbook: Physics for Scientists and Engineers, seventh edition,

I had Jopko for 1D03 and Okon for 1E03. Mind you apparently Jopko doesn't teach anymore OKON is the best hands down. In class he worked examples, and those same examples were on the exam word for word. so make sure you go to every class. Took this class semester 2, 2008/2009 year. And also I used the sixth edition and it was perfectly fine. For my year they posted suggested problems from both sixth and seventh edition. I am not sure if they still do this.
