Physics 1L03 - what's it like?
Hi, I'm a first year student in Life Sciences. I was thinking about taking Physics 1L03 instead of Physics 1B03 in order to keep my GPA alive. Is there a major difference between the two in terms of difficulty? Would it be offered in the summer? I hear it's a prerequisite for student who did not complete grade 12 physics in high school (prerequisite for 1B03). Although, I have completed grade 12 physics with a good grade. If i were to still take this course, would it be counted as a university credit? Or am would i be simply wasting my time? Thanks

Hi basically if you don't plan on taking physics later on in university, (not applying for programs that requires 1b03) then you should take this course. It will count as a university credit and will fulfill the physics requirement. If you need 1B03, you should just skip 1L03. People who have taken gr 12 physics say this is a bird course.
