Physics, cal 1st yr courses
Hi, I am a first year life sci student. If I am planning on going to medical school, which courses should I take to get me prepared? PHY 1L03 or PHY 1B03? MATH 1LS3 or MATH 1A03?

I have not taken the 1L versions of each so I don't know how well they teach the subject. I assume they're very similar. Maybe someone else has a better opinion of them. The truth is, you just need the credits in those courses for the prerequisites. If you're doing the MCAT, a lot of the stuff you are studying from will come from the prep courses. Remember, I never took physics in university and only studied from the prep course. The physical science section ended up being my best section.

I suggest taking Math 1A03 incase you want to go to the States to study medicine. You will need to take a stats course, so you have to do Math 1A03 and Math 1AA3 because they are requirements in order to take Stats.
