Physics Help
Am i allowed to take physics 1lo3 after i have taken physics 1bo3? i have taken 1bo3 already, didn't do that great but passed but for the career path i am now looking into, i need a full year of physics, any physics, it doesnt have to involve labs, and i would rather take the easier one to keep my gpa up...am i allowed/does this look bad for something like teachers college?

The best way to check this is on the calendar.

http://registrar.mcmaster.ca /CALEN...nt/pg1890.html

There is no antireq and the prereq for 1B03 :One of Grade 12 Physics U, PHYSICS 1L03, 1P03; and one of Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors U, MATH 1F03; and credit or registration in one of ARTS&SCI 1D06, MATH 1A03, 1LS3, 1X03, 1Z04

not sure if l03+1b03 combined count as full year of physics; but it wouldnt hurt to check with an academic counselor at BSB

worst case is you take lt3 (second life sci physics) i guess

You can do it, but double check to make sure it satisfies the requirement for a full year of physics, because 1L03 is not a university-level physics, it's considered equivalent to grade 12.
