Piercings
I was just wondering what people thought of piercings. Do you have any? Where? And any recommendations of places in Hamilton to get one?

I've got...7/8 (three lobe piercings in each ear and an industrial) and I used to have three others.
I had one piercing done at Sinkin Ink in Hess (unfortunately that location has closed down but they have two others). I had the piercing for about three years and then I tore it out by accident.
I got my industrial was done at Cottage 13 about four and a half years ago. It is covering up the scar from a standard upper-ear cartilage piercing I had to take out when I wrestled.
I had a snug piercing done in Niagara Falls but it rejected after about three years.

i think its okay as long you don't get spacers.. thats just gross. especially getting spacers under your lip/nose, places where it shouldn't be. I don't even know why people do that.

It's actually been practiced in a lot of cultures for hundreds, or even thousands of years. The Mayans are one example.

yes that's true, but thats their culture.. I don't see why regular people need to do it especially ones who go overboard and just keep stretching it...

I'm not a fan of crazy piercings... it's just my taste though. I would never get any piercings.

I have my earlobes pierced twice, my cartilage pierced once on each ear, and I used to have a labret, but I had to take it out after 3 years because it was rubbing my gums too much. I got my lobes pierced at the mall both times, and I got my cartilage and labret done at Kreative Khaos in Burlington.

I'm a big fan of Cottage 13. They're clean, reasonably priced, and they always do a good job.

I agree. I'm more than a little scared of spacers. Maybe because they just don't look for comfortable.
