Like really, you're a friggin' loser if you don't return things you find on campus.
I thought the same thing. I've returned wallets I've found to people a couple of times in my life. I wasn't even tempted to take any money that may have been in them, nor did I gain any personal satisfaction from returning them to their owners. It's called being a decent human being.

I've returned lots of stuff that I've found...cellphone, student cards (yes, more than one), a jacket complete with ID, even a laptop that was still in the box...the list goes on. I try to follow the Golden Rule “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”... even with telemarketers.

Just remember that you should either return the item directly to the rightful owner or to a trustworthy person who will do the same.

Afzal, xo.monica like this.

SOCS, what what?!

Haha, but I have that bookstore sticker on it, so someone could have bought things with my card

Lucky for meee, the lady who helped me at the Office of the Registrar said she would "put it on hold" so no one could use it like that.

It IS pretty sad that I'm surprised at this act of decency, but from what I've heard and experienced, it's not that common. :(
