Please review my schedule/timetable! Anyone out there that just took Math 1A03??
Hello! Please help me review my schedule / timetable! I'm really nervous about my courses (ahh, so envious of all you non-first years lol!) and hope to avoid overworking myself, but I also don't plan on being lazy, letting my guard down, or procrastinating! :')

I'm also still worried if I chose the right math course lol. I chose 1A03 over 1LS3 for now, simply because it teaches just a bit more, but I'm worried I'll be missing important analyzing skills (ie, analyzing red blood cell growth graphs or something like that) that will likely be taught in 1LS3.
I read a lot of threads and reviews for both courses, but a lot of them are old so I'd like new opinions from people who recently took it?
Especially Math 1A03, because I know very little about it lol (compared to what I know about 1LS3).

So please, if you have any advice on the two maths, or have suggestions for nice profs for the below courses, please let me know!

That's a typical Life Sci schedule, as for picking Math 1A03 over 1LS3, you're not missing much at all, they're anti-reqs of each other, so they're equivalent. For more up to date threads about the difference between them, check out these threads:

lol don't worry about missing anything from 1LS3...you will learn that and more in 1A03...

Schedule looks good--pretty typical!

Also... Science 1A00 and Hth Sci 1BS0 are just online tutorial/quiz that you need to do before your first labs.

lol don't worry about missing anything from 1LS3...you will learn that and more in 1A03...

Schedule looks good--pretty typical!

Also... Science 1A00 and Hth Sci 1BS0 are just online tutorial/quiz that you need to do before your first labs.

Ohhh I think I've read all of them lol (I see your posts a lot). But a lot of them are from 2008-2009, so I thought maybe the courses changed a little bit? Ever since 1LT3 appeared lol~

relax ur schedule is just like any other life sci students and ls3 is like high school math
if u want to learn something taking A03 is the one for u

Nope, not much has changed really, especially since the profs haven't really changed . 1LT3 was created, but it's equivalent to 1AA3. So it's made in a way that Physical Science students are more geared towards Math 1A03 and 1AA3 while Biological sciences is more towards Math 1LS3 or 1LT3. It really all depends on how comfortable you are with math, but in the end, they're the exact same course with minor differences.

I took ls3, that's why im recommending A03 since i learned nothing from ls3
but it is easy mark
