Hi,

Has only one here taken POL SCI 2F03, I am considering taking this as my elective. Is this an interesting course to take?

Also is it easy?

Thanks

Yes, it's easy. Probably the easiest political science class I've ever taken. Go to lectures and put in some effort and you'll get a 10 at least. If you've take 1G06 before then this class will pretty much be a repeat of a lot of the same content.

As for interesting, well that all depends on you. Do you have an interest in the Canadian political system? Do you want to spend at least 2 hours per week learning about the Charter, Senate political parties etc.? Are you comfortable writing essays?
If you answered no to at least 2 of the above, then this probably isn't going to be a fun class but you're still likely to pull off at least a 10 if you go to lectures and put in some effort.

I had it with Rob Leone in the summer before he left Mac. Canadian Politics aren't my favourite field of study, but it was easy nonetheless.

Had the most interesting assignment I've had to write while being here too. We were required to observe any gathering of a political nature or some such and write about its conduct. The MPSSA organized a trip to Queen's Park, so a handful of us went to see the legislators. Fun little field trip; not sure if whoever teaches it now offers it though.

Interesting the course doesn't seem that bad. Do you mind me asking, what is the demographic of this class? ( hopefully girls, hehe)

hehe, no. Just saying different demographic would be nice. You can tell your not in an engineering class (in general, not always), if more than 2 girls sit in your proximity.
