I am thinking about taking this course next year and was wondering what people thought about it. How was the difficulty level? The professor? I just finished my second year of commerce and I want to pursue law school after my undergrad. I need to refine my writing skills as much as possible and was wondering if this course will help me. Furthermore anybody have any recommendations of any 2nd year political science courses they enjoyed? Thanks!

I took this course this year and I loved it. I wrote a review on this site - I think I mistakenly called it "Political Science", but it's there under 3rd year reviews.

If you plan on going into law, this is a GREAT class. The prof, Flynn, is one of my favourite professors. The class isn't easy, and it takes some work. You really have to go to every single lecture, and if you do, you'll be fine. There's just a lot of material and you can't miss many classes. The assignments are good because only 3 out of 4 are included in your final mark. The first one is basically a practice one, to see what you're doing wrong. I highly suggest this course. I wrote the paper, but chose not to do the presentation. It wouldn't have been that bad though. I think only 3 or 4 people presented each week, and on those days (Fridays), he told the class not to come. So you would only present infront of Flynn and 3 other students.
