Is it possible to get a 13 in the course if your final mark is above 100?

Nope, a 12 is anything 90+ so you cannot get a 13

Since you're asking such a silly question, you're probably not getting a 12 either.

If you are a 90-94 avg student mac scale actually benefits you after converting to gpa.

Wow what's up with that? Their "1" is 35-49.9% :S
Differentiates between "fail" and "really badly fail", I suppose :S

Can someone explain to me where the negative opinion of Health Sciences stems from in the Macinsiders community? It's really getting old...

I'm stating this from a third person perspective, mind you Phillip:

I believe that people in the MacInsiders community who ARE NOT in the Health Sciences program think it is a cakewalk. I mean, they think it is easy to obtain the very high averages that many do upon graduation and whatnot. They think that since there is much more group work and you can sometimes justify getting a higher mark, it means that the ENTIRE program itself is a joke. I find that extremely funny since the people who always look down upon that program ARE NOT in it to begin with in 99.99% of the cases. Every program has its respective pros and cons, ups and downs and whatnot.

I find it rather annoying. I guess the reason why the GPAs of Health Science students is much higher as a pool is because more or less there is one common goal of obtaining a high average and ending up in medical school or some other specialization like school..I'm not sure but whatever it is, people are getting rather annoying on here and the biased should stop. You don't bring much to the table unless you are actually from that program, and if you are, you cannot really help but be biased for it..in most cases if all is going well with you.

I have more to say, but perhaps another day.

A giant chunk of health scis continue into medicine statistically. Some people find it hard to believe that it's a coincidence and that the students actually are hard workers...so they attribute it to mark inflation. I am not one of those people by the way.
