My desktop is fairly modest.

EDIT: The only other notable thing are my headphones, which are a pair of Sennheiser HD 280 pros.

Too lazy to look up the exact specs, but:

Intel Core i3-2100 (Dual core, 3.1GHz)
MSI H61 Motherboard
Nvidia GTX 460 (756MB)
Patriot 8GB Ram
WD 1.5TB HDD
Asus 24" 1080p Monitor
Razer Lycosa Keyboard
Logitech MX518 Mouse
Logitech 5.1 Speaker System

Cost me less than $900 after rebates and it's handled everything I've thrown at it at max settings except for The Witcher 2 and Metro 2033 so far. Pretty beastly system for the price.

I assume that most people listing specs assembled the computer themselves, and so have intimate knowledge of each component. Unless you had it built at a retailer like NCIX, in which case you can GTFO of the thread.

Oh shit you're right; I normally lump laptops into a quasi-computer category.
