Prerequisits
When a course says this for prerequisits...

"Prerequisite: LINGUIST 1A03, 1AA3"

and two courses are listed with a comma between them, does that mean that you had to have taken BOTH of the courses, or just one?

I'm asking because I want to take Linguistics 1A03 because it looks interesting, but I'm not sure if I should take Linguistics 1AA3 as well, because I dont really have any room in my time table. What do you think? thanks!

I think you need to take only one of them because some courses have 3 or more Prerequisites so I dont think you should take them all.

But thats what I think, Im not sure

You will have to take both 1A03 and 1AA3. If you had an option it would say "or" between them.

Courses can have multiple prerequisites, and from many different subject areas as well as different years.

So yes, you would need to take both courses as Danny said.
