Printing Slides from Avenue/Bio Study Guide
2 questions in 1

1. I'm technologically challenged and I was trying to print out lecture skeleton notes off avenue however they're all .pdf files and I want to print them so that I have 8 slides on one page (if that makes sense) so I'm not wasting paper, but I don't know how to do that since I can't open it as a .ppt

2. Kajiura said that the BIO study guide (w/ the brown old) is really useful, but I have a hunch that most profs just say that but don't really mean it. Since it's not required and I don't want to waste money, I was wondering if anyone has used it before, is it worth buying?

Thanks!

The study guide is useless, Kajura's words of wisdom are not to be taken all the time. She is a co-writer you know? She benefits when you buy the book.

8 slides per page might turn out a bit too small... i usually go for four

-save the pdf (always do this because u never know when avenue decides its nap time)
-press the print button (or hit ctrl+p if u arent sure where it is)
-beside the 'page arranege option there is a drop down menu... select multiple pages per sheet
- then just keep rotating (clockwise or counter) until u get the desired orientation...

--- print

dont buy the study guide -- ive never looked inside it and managed to do just fine... as did many ppl in the course

the only extra book that wouldnt be a waste to invest in is the how to write biology thingy (dont remember the exact title, but its a small black book)
