prof got fired???
Does anyone remember a Dr. Gordon Hopper who used to teach Geo courses at mac? what happened to him? was he fired?

Could be many things. Retired, sabbatical, was a sessional so they were laid off...etc

I am in 2nd year, and I have seen one of my profs go (Jopko!). I dont think profs get fired that often, most likely on vacation, quit for sumthing else, or just retired.

jopko was awful, sry to anyone who may have liked him, but ya... really not good.

Do you mean Jopko got fired? or he is just retired?
I had him last year, both term. His lectures could be boring sometimes, but his demos is surely the best. (My favorite is the fire extinguisher jet cart)

Lol ya I read that a few days ago. He has more than one page in that book (math). Jopko classes were pretty boring tho but his demos were nice. He wasnt there for jet cart demo but Okon did it for us.

Dr. Jopko taught his last class this summer. He is now retired.
