Prog Metal
I've met only one progressive metal fan here at Mac. Anybody else enjoy progressive metal?

Examples: http://cloudkicker.bandcamp. info/, http://unevenstructure.net/

I never really got into Dream Theater, they remind me of Chimp Spanner. Not enough Djent.

Djent is a pretty terrible genre.

Progressive metal is not as good as progressive rock, but there are a few good bands like Atheist and Fates Warning. Outworld, Symphony X, and Winds aren't bad either. Opeth is okay. Of Dream Theater's stuff, I only like Awake and Images and Words.

I like Porcupine Tree, which is more prog rock, though the newer stuff is not the same (not saying it's bad).

Too each their own. Music and Art are relative, and if you think other music is bad, keep it to yourself. I really don't give a **** what you think.

Thanks but I'm not going to bottle up my thoughts because you don't like them.

Another progressive metal band I kind of like is JT Bruce. His stuff is free for download at his website, http://www.subjectruin.net. I like Universica the best. Bellatrix and Fomalhaut are pretty cool songs.

They're older right? Had an album called Crimson? I think I've heard some of their stuff.
